Team Day at Tunbridge Wells Curling Club

On what was one of the hottest days of the year so far, here at RVL we swapped our keyboards and soldering irons for brushes and stones.
While many in the country were reaching for sun-cream and heading to the beach, our team aimed for the ice at Tunbridge Wells Curling Club.
After steadying ourselves, we soon realised that curling is deceptively technical. Every shot requires reading the ice, calculating angles, communication and adapting in real time. Perhaps that’s why our Engineers took to it so naturally!
It was a fantastic opportunity to step away from our day-to-day projects, challenge ourselves in a completely different environment, and enjoy some great team spirit along the way. Safe to say, there were a few rather competitive moments too…
