Electronics Simulation and Testing
Robust electronics design needs more than a completed schematic and PCB layout. Before a product can move forward with confidence, key parts of the design need to be simulated, measured, tested, and understood.
At RVL, we use a range of SPICE-based simulation tools to assess circuit behaviour during the design process. This helps us review performance, check assumptions, identify potential weaknesses, and refine designs before and after prototype build.
Once hardware is available, our engineering team can carry out detailed functional testing using all the equipment you would expect from an experienced electronics design company — and more. This allows us to validate performance, diagnose issues, verify key requirements, and provide clear test evidence in a structured report.

More Than Standard Bench Testing
Because RVL has invested in broader in-house test capability, we can look beyond basic functional checks. Our environmental chambers allow products and assemblies to be tested under controlled temperature conditions, helping identify problems that may not appear at room temperature.
Our X-ray inspection capability supports investigation of hidden solder joints, BGA devices, voiding, and assembly issues that cannot be checked visually. Thermal imaging helps identify overheating components, poor thermal design, unexpected current paths, and areas of stress within a design.
We can also carry out radiated emissions pre-compliance checks to help identify potential EMC issues earlier in the development process before formal compliance testing.
