RVL donates to Nourish Community Food Bank in Tunbridge Wells, Kent

Things have been difficult for everyone, right? But that is why we are proud to support Nourish Community Food Bank in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Staff at RVL recently donated £500 for the team to use in whatever way works best.
Nourish Community Food Bank is a brilliant charity that makes a huge difference to lots of people in Kent – did you know that 44% of the people they help are children? In fact, it’s not just about bags of food, it’s about a helping hand. When life puts obstacles in the way, it’s good to know someone else can help you out.
This charity supports people across Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, and the surrounding areas with home deliveries of emergency food supplies and essential items. They appreciate donations of money, food, and time, but also rely on people to raise funds for them, whether privately or through company payroll giving schemes, for example.
So whilst we have ALL had a tricky time this year, the staff at RVL felt it was important to donate, particularly whilst the impact of this pandemic is being felt across the local community. Let’s hope we can start to get back to normal very soon.
If you just stop to think for a moment, we reckon you can think of someone you know who has been helped by a charitable organisation. It’s been very tough for charities, as their income has dried up almost overnight. Think of all the fundraising events and ideas that couldn’t take place this year.
